Darius Ausama  Biography

Biography: I was a kid with a music dream, now I’m a
man with a music dream. I’m from Fort Worth, Texas and I’ve always
wanted to play music, either in band or solo. Guitar is my mainstay,
but I love the groove of bass, too. What spurred me to start was when
I was constantly writing lyrics and poems, and thinking of music to go
with it. This was back when I was a 13-year old, and then from that
point forth, I followed whatever musical opportunities I could take. I
appreciate the support and promotion. Thanks for listening.

Have you always been interested in music? What is your story
and how did you start making music?

Always, ever since I was a kid. I thank my parents for that. Around
middle and high school was when I started discovering a different
taste in music, rock music and its subcategories, as an escape from
school and life at the moment. Around that time, that’s also when I
started writing poetry, which eventually turned into song lyrics. But
progress was really made when I started taking music lessons and
practicing in 2018. Ever since then, it’s been a climb, meeting
different musicians, learning about different kinds of music. Guitar
is a mainstay for me, but I love the groove of bass as well. I’m
always appreciative for the opportunity to entertain and make music,
as it’s an extension of myself.

What are you working on now? Any future releases we can look
forward to?

Nothing as of right now. There probably won’t be anything for a
while, but when I do, everybody will be made aware.
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? I wanna spread an
honest message about what I feel, through my music.

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
Honestly, making the music for me has been the biggest challenge. It
outlined my for practice in my craft.

How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head
and then write the other music for it or what’s Your typical
songwriting process?

I’ll come up with the music and lyrics for the basic structure of the
song: verse, chorus, and such, then I write it all up. It’s a pretty
straightforward, but the challenging part is the recording process. I
record all the rhythm guitar parts first, then the bass to line it up,
vocals, and lastly the lead. I’d like to work with a drummer to bring
it all together.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
The Internet has made music much more accessible, which is a gift for
listeners across all genres and generations. But I feel it has
saturated the experience of music, such as going to record stores and
finding the music you want. The good ol’ stuff back in the good ol’
days. I’m more of an old soul, so I look for an experience in

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
I was just a kid who played video games at his parents’ house. My
first, and current, job is the Army, but before that I didn’t have any
sort of responsibility or real job.

Would you have any advice for young people wanting to follow
in your footsteps?

SAVE MONEY, because you have to spend money to make money. Also be
yourself, I’d like to think there’s nothing better than that. Also
have a plan besides music, because ideal careers aren’t guaranteed.

If you could change anything about the music industry, what
would it be?

That no one musician’s style or personality should change due to popularity.

How do you feel about originality?
Originality is key. You have to pursue your own style, all of the
ideas that are going on in your head. They could be something
different than anything else that anyone has ever heard in their life.
Also be mindful of your influences.

Is there anything else we should know about you? or Something
that you would like to add?

Honestly, that’s all from me. Have a fantastic day and thanks for reading!
